What you would pay in a month
This compares ShopNx with Shopify Basic billed yearly, using a third-party gateway on both. It leaves out gateway charges, couriers and domain costs, and Shopify's own taxes if any apply.

Shopify's percentage falls on its higher plans (1% on Grow, 0.6% on Advanced), but those cost ₹5,599 and ₹22,680 a month when billed yearly. Choose ShopNx if
- you are starting out and do not want a monthly bill before the orders come in;
- you sell to Indian customers, with cash on delivery and Razorpay;
- you sell through WhatsApp and Instagram and want one store link.
Choose Shopify if
- you need a particular app or theme from its marketplace;
- your team already knows Shopify and moving would cost more than the fees;
- your sales are above about ₹31 lakh a month, where its Grow plan works out cheaper.

Is ShopNx cheaper than Shopify?
Against Shopify Basic with a third-party gateway, yes, at any sales level: ShopNx comes to 1.18% with GST against Shopify's 2% plus its monthly fee. Above about ₹31 lakh of sales a month, Shopify Grow billed yearly costs less than ShopNx.
When should I choose Shopify?
Choose Shopify if you need a specific app from its large app store, a theme from its marketplace, or you sell across many countries and want its wider set of tools.
Do both need a payment gateway?
On ShopNx you connect your own Razorpay account and pay Razorpay its charges. Those charges are left out of the table, because you would pay a gateway on either platform.
