Headless ecommerce: build your own storefront
The GoCommerce engine behind ShopNx is API-first. Use our storefront, or build your own on the same REST API.
What can I build on?
- REST API. Described in an OpenAPI file that ships with the engine.
- Webhooks. Your systems hear about orders and other events as they happen.
- MCP. AI agents use the store through tools, with an audit trail, and never touch the database.
- Svelte Commerce. An open-source storefront to start from.
Does a developer need to change the engine?
Usually not. Features are separate modules you switch on, such as payments, shipping and wholesale, and every module uses the same engine rules for an order.
Where is the code?
Both projects are open source under the MIT licence, and you can run them on your own server.
