ShopNx vs WooCommerce
Both are open source. With WooCommerce you arrange hosting and buy the extensions you need. With ShopNx you can use our hosting and pay 1% of successful sales plus GST, with no monthly bill. WooCommerce suits you better if you already run WordPress, or need a payment gateway other than Razorpay.

When does a fee on sales cost more than hosting?
A percentage grows with your sales and a hosting bill mostly does not. On our hosting, ShopNx comes to ₹1,180 on ₹1,00,000, ₹5,900 on ₹5,00,000 and ₹23,600 on ₹20,00,000 of monthly sales, including GST. Set that against your own hosting and extension costs. If the fee grows too large, you can move to your own server, where ShopNx charges nothing.
Choose ShopNx if
- you don't want to look after a server, updates and extensions;
- you sell jewellery and want prices worked out from weight, wastage and making charge without an add-on;
- you want wholesale accounts, Razorpay, Shiprocket and WhatsApp updates in one system.
Choose WooCommerce if
- your business already runs on WordPress;
- you need a gateway other than Razorpay today, as the others are upcoming on ShopNx;
- you need several sellers in one store, which ShopNx does not do.

Questions sellers ask
Is WooCommerce free?
Its core is free, with no monthly subscription and no share of your revenue. You still pay for hosting, and for any paid extensions you add.
Is ShopNx free too?
Running it on your own server has no ShopNx fee. On our hosting it costs ₹0 a month and 1% of successful sales, plus 18% GST on that fee.
Can I bring my WooCommerce products to ShopNx?
Yes, as a product list in a CSV file. Customers, past orders and your old design stay behind, so keep an export of those.
