ShopNx Help
Step-by-step guides for running your store. New here? Start with creating your store.
Get started
- Create your store and sign in Sign up with your phone or email, name your store, and you can start adding products straight away.
- Set up your store details Your store's name, address, tax number, logo and currency are all under Settings › Store.
- Add your first product Press New product, give it a title and a price, and set it to Active so shoppers can see it.
- Choose how shoppers pay Cash on delivery is on from the start. To take cards and UPI, connect a payment company with your own account under Settings › Payment methods.
- Set up delivery charges Delivery charges are set by zone. Your first zone was made for your country when you created the store, and each zone needs at least one rate.
- Connect your own domain Every store gets a free address that works right away. To use your own domain, add it under Settings › Domains and copy the records shown into your domain provider.
Products
- Sizes, colours and other variants Add an option such as Size to a product, and ShopNx makes a variant for each value with its own price, stock and SKU.
- Keep track of stock Products › Inventory shows what is running low. Available stock is what you have on hand, minus what is reserved for open orders.
- Bring in products from a spreadsheet or Shopify Settings › Import reads a CSV in ShopNx's own layout or a file exported from Shopify, as it is. A dry run checks the whole file first.
- Collections and categories A collection is a hand-picked group shown in your own order. A category is where a product sits in your catalogue, and each product has one.
- Price jewellery from the day's metal rate Type today's rate per gram and save, and every design made from that metal is repriced straight away. Orders already placed keep their price.
- Sell in more than one language Add a language under Settings › Store and translate your products, categories and collections under Products › Translations. Shoppers choose their language at the foot of every page.
Orders
- Ship an order and mark it paid Each order's page shows only the buttons that fit its state: Mark paid, Ship, then Delivered.
- Refunds, returns and cancellations These are three separate steps: a refund moves money, a return records goods coming back, and cancelling stops an order that hasn't shipped.
- Cash on delivery Cash on delivery is on from the start. An order is confirmed straight away and stays Awaiting payment until you press Mark paid.
- Invoices and GST ShopNx issues one invoice for each paid order. A store in India with a valid GSTIN, selling in rupees, gets a GST tax invoice.
- Win back abandoned carts Orders › Abandoned checkouts lists baskets people left, and Marketing › Automations sends reminders once your email is set up.
Payments, delivery and tax
- Connect Razorpay Paste your Razorpay keys under Settings › Payment methods, then add ShopNx's webhook address in Razorpay so it can tell your store when an order is paid.
- Connect Shiprocket Add a Shiprocket API user under Settings › Shipping providers, and you can book couriers and print labels from an order's page.
- Set up taxes No tax is charged until you add a rate under Settings › Taxes. Stores in India can fill rates from the GST schedule.
- See what you are owed Orders › Payouts adds up what each payment method collected. ShopNx doesn't hold your money: each payment company pays you directly, on its own schedule.
Store design
- Change how your store looks Go to Content › Themes to edit your home, product, collection, header and footer sections with a live preview. Nothing changes for shoppers until you press Publish.
- Pages, menus and FAQ Write pages such as About and your policies under Content › Pages, then link them from your header and footer under Content › Menus.
- Add banners to your home page Banners are the slides across the top of your home page and the picture grids under its first section. Manage them under Themes › Banners.
- Show your videos beside your products Paste a YouTube or Facebook link under Content › Video showcases, choose the products it shows, and publish. Videos are played from those sites, never uploaded here.
Customers and marketing
- Customers and groups The Customers screen builds itself from your orders, grouped by email. Groups give some customers their own prices, delivery rates or tax exemption.
- Create a discount Press New discount, choose what it takes off and who can use it. Each order can use one discount.
- Manage reviews New reviews wait for you under Products › Reviews. Approve them to show them, or switch off moderation.
- Answer contact messages Everything sent through your contact form arrives under Customers › Contact messages, where you can reply by email.
- Take questions about a product Shoppers can ask about a product from its page, and the questions arrive with your contact messages. For made-to-order stock, Enquiry mode replaces buying with asking.
- Newsletter signups ShopNx collects your subscribers under Customers › Newsletter. To send a campaign, export them into your email tool.
- Email, SMS, WhatsApp and Telegram Until you connect an email company, order messages go nowhere: they are logged and nobody receives them. Set this up before you open.
- Google, Meta and search engines Your sitemap is on from the start, ready to give to Google. Product feeds for Google Merchant Center and Meta are off until you turn them on.
