Who can see my store's data?

On our hosting, your store's data sits on servers we run, under our privacy policy. If you self-host, it sits on a server you run. Beyond that, other companies get what the services you connect need.

Which other companies get my customers' data?

The ones you connect, on your own accounts. An order sent to a courier carries the delivery address. A payment goes through your Razorpay account. A WhatsApp update goes through your WhatsApp Business account. Each company's own terms apply.

The tracking you add also sends data out: Google Analytics, Meta Pixel and the rest run when you add your IDs. Add the ones you use and no others.

Does the AI see my customers' details?

Only if you allow it. AI tools are optional, and there is a switch for each kind of data that may leave the store. Contact details and message bodies are off to begin with.

Can my staff see everything?

You decide. Staff roles and permissions let you limit what each person can do in your admin.

Can I message customers without their consent?

You shouldn't. Send WhatsApp basket reminders and order updates only to customers who agreed to them. That choice sits with you as the seller.

What if I want it all under my control?

The engine and storefront are open source, so you can run them on your own server and read how they handle data.

Questions sellers ask

Is ShopNx GDPR or CCPA certified?

We make no such claim. If you sell to customers in Europe or California, take advice on what those laws ask of your store.

Can I get my data out?

Export of your complete product, customer and order data is upcoming. Today a developer can read your data through the REST API. If you self-host, the database is already yours.
