AI can draft products from your photos, improve listings and answer setup questions. It runs on a free trial credit, or on your own Anthropic or OpenAI key.
What it does
- Create from photos, on the Products screen: sorts your photos into draft products. Needs Share documents on.
- Improve with AI, on a product: proposes a title, description, tags, SEO copy and picture alt text.
- Summarize reviews, under Products › Reviews.
- Ask AI, in the search bar: how to set up your store, or a change to your store's details. Nothing changes until you press Apply.
What it costs
AI › Usage shows your AI credit and spending. To use your own key, go to Plugins › AI gateway, choose a Provider and set a Monthly cap. That company bills you directly, and it draws no credit. See AI tools and pricing.
What it can see and change
You choose what is shared with the model in its settings. Contact details and message bodies are off to begin with.
When an agent asks to change something a customer would see, or money, stock or a price, the request waits under AI › Approvals for you. A request left for a week expires.
