Add banners to your home page

Banners are the slides across the top of your home page and the picture grids under its first section. Manage them under Themes › Banners.

1. Go to Themes › Banners and press Add a slide or Add a grid under Home page.
2. Choose a Picture. A slide is wide, about 1500 × 380 pixels. A grid tile is square or nearly so.
3. Add a Title and a Link, such as /collections/new-in. Leave the link empty for a picture that goes nowhere.
4. Check Show on the storefront is on, and save.

Slides can also take a Phone picture, a narrower crop of about 720 × 380 pixels. Grid tiles use the same picture on phones. A slide with a link shows a Shop now button.

Grids

Tiles with the same Grid heading form one grid. Use Add a tile to add to an existing one.

To hide a banner for now, switch it off in the list, which keeps it on this screen. The arrows change the order. Remove takes it away, and its picture stays in your Files.

If a sample shop's hero and slides look heavy together, remove the hero section in the page editor, or remove the sample slides here.
