Connect your own domain

Every store gets a free address that works right away. To use your own domain, add it under Settings › Domains and copy the records shown into your domain provider.

  1. Go to Settings › Domains, type your domain under Add a domain, and press Add domain.
  2. The screen shows the records to add. Copy each into the DNS settings at the company you bought the domain from.
  3. Press Verify. Records can take a few minutes to appear, so press it again if it doesn't work the first time.
  4. Once it says Verified, press Make primary to make it your main address.

The domain gets its security certificate on its own after verifying. Your free address keeps working and needs no DNS record.
