Cash on delivery

Cash on delivery is on from the start. An order is confirmed straight away and stays Awaiting payment until you press Mark paid.

Find it under Settings › Payment methods.

  • Press Deactivate to turn it off. Keep another method on, or shoppers can't check out.
  • Press Configure to set an Extra charge. Typing 60 adds ₹60 to orders paid by cash, shown as Cash on delivery charge. It isn't discounted or taxed.

When the courier hands you the money, open the order and press Mark paid. That is also when its invoice is issued.

Ask shoppers to confirm

With WhatsApp set up, shoppers who agreed at checkout get a message with confirm and cancel buttons. A cancel tap lists the order for you to call. Switch on Cancel a cash order when the shopper taps Cancel to cancel it without calling.
